Yeah im sure the axle is not bent, the shafts are not in any sort of bind. What I mean by keep breaking them, I have broken an inner long side and a stub from the short side so far.
Hey guys, been a little bit! I have a 79 D60 with 35 spline Yukon shafts (Older) and I keep breaking them! They are breaking in the middle of the axle or at the stub where it rides on the spindle bearing. Has anyone ever used Nitro shafts and had good success? I am running the Nitro Xcaliber...
I used trails Offroad.com and Gia GPS. You can download the trail maps to your phone. It worked great and never had much trouble with signal in Moab. We will be there at the end of June again!
Have fun man!! Its a great place! If something happens, hit up Saint Danes Cabins in Spanish Valley and tell them Matt sent you. You will get the ultimate hook up on a campsite/ possible cabin.
I will say, Choke cherry canyon had the BEST traction I have ever experienced in my life!! Was undoubtably the coolest place I have been wheeling wise and will for sure go back! We did not get to wheel with many people but was able to stay and see a lot of it! Way more laid back than Moab...
Much much more... ended up getting 9.3mpg and had zero trouble with anything! Went a total of 3600 miles and took 3 weeks! It was really awesome to be able to spend time with my family with all this craziness going on! We had a blast!
Colorado just announced today that the campgrounds and stuff are going to be open so we were thinking about heading that way now! We are leaving around the 24th of this month.
Bringing this back up! Looks like we may try Colorado again as our route. Anyone ever wheel Holycross up there? Looks like we can disperse camp along the road, just hope we have enough room to maneuver the trailer! We are looking at stopping there and then carnage canyon which looks to be...
This is the same way it is around my house! My boy is 12 and really doesn't have the desire to wheel trucks, he does like ATV's thought so not all hope is lost! haha
We have been there before and really like Moab, its just a distance between obstacles for sure! The diner is awesome and we will for sure be going there!
@showtime33 is there any large overnight parking areas around? Was looking at stopping there after we leave farmington!
