    Is anyone actually riding?

Like most folks I'm sure, I got a pm to post up so... I lurk here more than anything. No crazy buggy or Jeep here, just a carb'd leaf sprung Blazer so no shock & awe like most of y'all. I haven't had my Blazer out of the shop, much less wheel, in over a year. The last year has been blessed and...

    Recommended Rear D60 to Narrow?

Just to say it out loud, Chevy did not use a D60 in the rear of any 73+ trucks (I do not know about vans).

    Th400 to Ford NP205

@DobermanRacing i believe your proposed combo will work. The 32 spline input will probably need to be the long style from the ‘85+ round bolt pattern tcase (pre ‘85 8 bolt cases use a shorter input). Seems like the 400/208 adapter might have interference problems with the inner shift rail but I...

    14 K Equipment trailers

Not quite 14k but I have a 12k. I’ve got an 18’ (16+2) ‘06 Big Tex “12 ET” 12k trailer and love it. Mine is a typical bumper pull, low deck with fenders and weighs about 2600 lbs. empty.

    Seat covers

Yeah, I just priced the Precision Fit for my Dodge and it was a disappointing $840. For that much money, I would probably get a leather kit.

    Seat covers

Do you know which series of Covercraft?

    Full size rigs

Pretty cool truck, lots of neat parts there. Is it yours or are you building for someone? Specs?

    Is it sticky?

I would think they have something like “non DOT” on the sidewalk.

    Building a Build Thread

Yes, Photosuckit wants about $300 yr to host and remote link pics now, most folks have dropped them. I'm on a GM forum that offers free hosting and remote linking with a paid membership so I use that, well worth it. As far as content, action or cool fab work wins every time. With respect to my...

    Bucket list ORV parks

This lurkers list... I don't get out much so I'll generically say I'd love to make it to some parks in Tn and Ky for the badassery and Southeast fall scenery. My bucket list; Moab and/or Fordyce always look amazing.

    Black friday deals?

I didn't realize TSC had those jugs.

    Low Gears

5.38’s have 8 teeth like a 5.86, might as well go all the way. :D

    Low Gears

I understand the concept is the same, my point was about getting people to listen to the whole concept instead of shutting down part way through.

    Low Gears

Your comparison should be more realistic, like 5.13's instead of 3.73's. I can't imagine anyone that was considering a ballpark of 6.17's would value a comparison to 3.73's. That's like using 22R logic on a 350 for better mpg's. Now, my 5.86's have 7 pinion teeth whereas 5.13's have 8, so there...

    YouTube of the day

I guess I was naive and / or not thinking with the Banks videos, I was really enjoying the tech until I realized it was just an infomercial. Very disappointing and made me question all of it. That's a really good price on the OE style cover, I just priced one a week ago from a friend at a...

    Low Gears

The 5.86 tooth count is 7 & 41, probably never feel the difference between these and 6.17's

    Low Gears

I run 5.86's and 43's (no o/d) in my Blazer but it's not a daily driver. I do street drive it occasionally and it's no big deal. Don't get psych'd out by the numbers, with a 40"+ tire you need a lot of gear to be proportionate again. @tvguy used to have a truck with 6.17's and 35" Boggers, he...

Good point, I was assuming sandwich plates.
