Haha, wel it’s my dad’s, his truck and $. He just don’t know jack about this kind of thing. Just got the honor of planning the build for him. He now has decided he wants a whipple on it, things may get real here soon.

Anyone had powder coat done in a chrome color? Thinking about having the aluminum wheels on my truck chrome coated.

Moving along nicely with the shifter linkage, all gears engage correctly

Yes, but obviously we won’t have the factory 6 speed manual shift option.

I was worried about the shifter linkage but Randy (builder) Has it headed in the right direction

Pulled all factory crap wires out, had to go back with a 2wd transmission adapter

So, lots of fab work for things to work out. Drivetrain is out again for final frame prep and weld out. Had to remove the front gas tank permanently, moved cross member back 3 inches. We will re install drivetrain to work out shifter linkage and wiring and stainless exhaust. It will all be...
