    895hp 440 SBC

I like it for a budget build. Makes tons of torque and good HP. It will also spin up as fast as you want due to the fairly short stroke. Actually its a 4.25 stroke, 4.310 bore. Mine is 4.25 stroke with a 4.320 bore making it a 498 but I just call it a 496.

    895hp 440 SBC

Marine Cast block that is 4 bolt main on all 5 Main caps (RARE). Merlin Aluminum heads, on average it stays pretty warm. I don't have a huge radiator and I think it would run a lot cooler if I did. The engine usually settles around the 200-210 range at the filler neck on the intake. At...

    895hp 440 SBC

Yes, I was running a 714/322 off the shelf. It ran real well.

    895hp 440 SBC

Its just what I built with what I could afford. My engine builder PeeWee at Riverside Machine has been begging me to build something bigger with an aftermarket block. I just cant afford it, mine has had a few come aparts but mostly self inflicted.

    What would a bouncer do?

400 turbo 205 and 5.38 in my chunks. 1st gear is pretty much useless for what I do other than pulling it in the trailer. I am happy with the way mine performs in 2nd and 3rd right now. I think the 4.10s would be stronger due to the larger pinion but I have never broke a 5.38, setup is key to...

    A good water pump?

I have a CVR electric pump and my radiator is in the rear. Best water pump I have ever purchased, it flows like no other and has never give me an Issue. I tried some off brand ones and they would last about a year and crap out, spend the extra money and get a good one. Dad runs a moroso...

I got a deal on some of the EOR Knuckles, Duncan ran them on the Attitude buggy and he really liked them.

Most desirable 14 bolt center for front build

That's a good looking front axle, with those parts you shouldn't have anything to worry about, hell im still running 35 Spline Yukons and break one every now and then. That's the same axle im getting ready to build actually but with different knuckles and inner c

Most desirable 14 bolt center for front build

Getting ready to build one myself, but you know all my stuff is JUNKYARD I just make it work the best I can. I have a ribbed center section at the machine shop now getting new tubes and the other night I purchased some big knuckles and Cs. If I had the Fabricated rear I couldn't handle a...

Most desirable 14 bolt center for front build

The non ribbed housings do crack (ask me how I know). I ran a ribbed one for years in my old buggy and swapped it into my new buggy. Ended up bending a tube and breaking the inner c off, instead of fighting with getting the old C off I just built another housing using the non ribbed center...

    Solid Kingpin Knuckles WTF

I could be wrong but the lower king pin only goes on one way. I am running the Blue Torch Fab Lower king pins but had no problem with hole alignment unless it is backwards. I also just cut the steering stop completely off. Running 3/4 ton calipers no issue hitting the knuckle. Matter of fact I...

    Sisters

I could be wrong but welding is the easy part of a build. I see welds all day long and tig weld for a living I'm not the fastest welder but will line torches up with anyone around a 20" PIPE. Its nice and all but why spend so much time tig welding everything? Get a splatter gun learn to use it...

    The bad karma buggy

Re: Mash yer motor - Csc fab buggy Better get those weldered that is a crucial part that takes a lot of beating. Add some gussets where you can and roll on. I hate looking at the belly pan of my buggy it is beat up so bad makes me sick.

    Batmobile 14 bolt front build

Best comment in this entire thread, I have been running Yukons since 2012 and have broke 2 stub axels. Yukon Spool in the front. The second axle I broke just recently was due to a broken Knuckle and Inner C.
