Been kind of a slow go with a full time day job that has been kicking my ass and my blacksmith business but we've got the front axle out for a rebuild. One side was pretty nice and had the original Bendix jointed axle in it. J-mox had already been in it and put new brakes on that side. The other side was a rusty mess. It had a newer Spicer jointed shaft and it looks like the knuckle held water for a while. The u-joint is froze up and both ki g pins are frozen in the cups. Currently working on getting that apart. Tried beating on it, then heat & beat then I just cut the king pin cap off but there is still too much of the pin sticking up to remove the knuckle. I'm gonna have to resort to the plasma.
