After I got everything switched out and took the RV out the replacement tranny took a crap. Well then this build started and I thought what the hell the 440 only had 60,000 original miles on it. Lets use it, only problem was it was a 2 wheel drive tranny. So I got a 4 wheel drive tranny from a small block mopar but it won't bolt up to a Big block but the tail shafts are the same. Well if im gonna tear it down i figured make it better. So new race clutches, reverse manual valve body, bolt in sprag, new TC bla, bla bla. When I finally broke into the big block tranny I was glad to find a 4 gear planetary which is just a litter stronger. I then decided if I got the motor out lets beef it up a bit. My friend build mopar race engines and I took it to him and he said it had good factory heads, the good crank, and good rods. So he suggested bore it, new rings and pistons and a cam. he thought I could make some good torque and power. heres some pics</p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/jeep-hardcore-tech/689153d1344494621-widow-maker-project-img_20120802_151506.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/jeep-hardcore-tech/689154d1344494621-widow-maker-project-img_20120802_151516.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/jeep-hardcore-tech/689603d1344701351-widow-maker-project-sunp0153.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/jeep-hardcore-tech/690628d1345167289-widow-maker-project-2012-08-15_15-17-23_392.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/jeep-hardcore-tech/690855d1345299992-widow-maker-project-2012-08-15_15-18-11_219.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
