Started playing around withe my lathe I got about 2 years ago. I'm no machinist but it's not too hard to learn on.

My first attempt to make some cool was a muzzle break for my AR. Everything was going good until I threaded the break. It went fine but when I screwed it onto the barrel it wobbled. So now it's a paper weight.

Attempt #2

So then came attempt #2. This one seems to be perfect and I'll take it shooting next week.

Joop, have you tried stainless? Where abouts are you located? I might have some parts to throw your way if youd like some side money or few six packs....

Thats the part, its about... 4.5 inches long. 5/8x11 thread on the bottom, and .5 inches at the narrow side of the shaft. with a 1/4x20 thread in the very top.

Let me know, my buddy who owns a machine shop busts a batch of 5 out for me occasionally, but hes so busy it takes me months to get them. although it is free, but I'd rather help a fellow wheeler out!

Edit:
WTF is on your poor dog?! :fawkdancesmiley:
