Chevy problems???

I have an 06 HHR it has sat for 5 month. Disconnected the battery and charged it. When I go to start it, the security emblem flashes 3 times and stays on. It won't start or go into neutral. the remote will not start it either. Any suggestions.

sounds like its in a default security mode... theres probably a simple way to disable it thats normally in the owners manual...and theres always google. usually involves putting the key in a specific door lock or a series of key on/off's and using the key fob.

Found it. It wasn't working because battery wouldn't hold a charge for 30 min.
