So I spent Saturday getting the rear main, clutch, tranny, tcase and drivelines in. Was so nice to be able to drive it under its own power. The 6.5 gears in the case are such and improvement(thanks again XOFAB). Cant wait to use them this weekend. I purchased one of Harbor Freights new Badland winches. Has a series wound motor and reviews seem to be good. Its the 6k model which should be ample for my little sammy. Since it is a smaller winch I had to drill two holes in the winch plate and modify the fairlead mount. Got it all mounted and wired and pulled it up my driveway. Its not the fastest winch, but its better than no winch. Ill have a good review of it after next weekend im sure:redneck: Also got my cb mounted and wires ran. I went over to Nick C place to pick up a drill press and while I was there he was generous and also gave me a cb antenna mount(thanks again Nick). So just need to fix some lights, and put my new shocks in the rear and its ready to go. Cage gets started April 13th:cheer:
