Heres the run down...I had a 90 wrangler(pics on introduce section). Didn't want to F it up so I sold it. Went to a towing auction one day and over in the corner of this lot I met my new love(it was a beautiful day by the way), a 1989 white, standard cab, short box, 2WD, 4.0, 5sp. JEEP Comanchee. Thanks to some old a-hole....he ran the bid up on me to $300....could of got it for $175(but NOOOOOO!) So in spite of what my wife told me....I bought it....just like any man would do(not having any idea if it ran or even moved. Heres a pic of what I started with. In the second picture is NotMatt. When I got it home the first thing to do was to see if the biotch ran....tore apart the steering and put a new ignition switch(what Matts helping with), Matt brough over a battery, I checked and filled all the fluids(adding a new cooling bottle cap)....Turned the key...and she fired right up and I drove her down the street! SWEET!(now my wife wouldn't cut off my balls) So the next day....I had all the common cooling problems so we went to Matts parent house got a fan and fan clutch, and I went and bought a new thermostat and gasket and installed those...still overheating....so I went and bought a new aftermarket 3 row radiator and BAM...problem solved.(for now) Oh...and I need a new starter the next day also. So, I'm into this thing about $300(purchase of truck), $24(tax), $67(Transfer title), $30(ignition switch, fluids, thermostat, and gasket), $96(starter), $96(radiator) TOTALING....$613 FOR A GOOD RUNNER!:fawkdancesmiley: I forgot to mention that the MJ had a rear D44. Score...by selling it...I hope to offset most of the costs I just listed...
