Long story short, I've been interested in werock and cone dodging for a few years now. Dumb luck happened and I ended up as the promod spotter for the texas rock gods in the werock eastern series this year which opened up a door I never imagined possible to acquire. This all took place within the same time frame of finishing up my M&M buggy in October last year and still having my old buggy complete. The old buggy was clapped out beyond measure but the parts were good. I stripped down the old buggy and sold the chassis for cheap which left me with a pile of parts that needed a home. Earlier this year, I picked up a JHF goatbuilt kit from a guy in Maryland to put most of my old stuff in for a simple rock buggy/ cone dodger as time allows. The goal is to be setup for Promod (locking rear steer out and 40s) or unlimited with rear steer and 43s. Current plans are: Big block turbo 22r on propane Aw4 atlas 5:1 Coilovers simple shaved lp60 front cut down to 64" super shave 14b cut down to 63" and rear steer I have a pretty simple vision of it in my head that should work well. The chassis kit will be going to Rev Limit Fab in about a month for assembly then i'll bring it home and start on everything else. I've been calling this my five year project so we will see how it goes on time frame. Its been a long time since I documented a build thread, but figured it was a good place for one. I will update as progress is slowly made.
