I stop in time to time to see the builds and any off-road awesomeness here. Some off the comments in this post and then the announced 24hr ride to make wheeling great again made me join. Only problem is….we drive sxs’s lol. I have one and the wife has one. We did just buy a Jku for a daily driver but now planning on building it up for some wheelin. I think our rzrs think they’re jeeps. Big tires low gearing. Our best riding trips have been with jeeps/trucks/Sammie’s whatever. We try and hit all the big rock trails we can. Forums are full of HUGE amounts of info. Social media has killed the forums. Sxs’s and the easiness of buying one has brought a real bad crowd and problems associated with them into the trails. Nobody can fake an image and be popular on forums because you have to know your stuff like they can do on Fb ig tt and yt. Social media full of fake a** people pretending to be someone. -were a sxs yt channel and see all the problems sxs’s and social media are casting in the woods-thus leading us into building up the jeep and then something else big to start wheeling. Gotta have thick skin and knowledge to be on a forum. Something that is in a downward spiral from generation to generation. Also-a big divide between sxs and bigger orv’s. It don’t matter to us. We ran into Jeremy rose of y’all know of him at windrock on Walden’s ridge and were riding behind his group and watching and hangin out. Could tell they were a lil cautious to let us hang but once they realized we were there to wheel..the real fun began. One of the best trips we’ve been on. We just love wheelin with whoever whenever no matter what anyone is driving. And just so ya know…with the Jeep build coming we could care less about ducks and waving and all that. We just wanna build awesome stuff and wheel.
