You can buy one on ebay, or speedway.com for about $60 http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-TIRE-GROOVING-IRON-INCLUDES-215-BLADES-HEAD-4-RACING-GROOVER-/290648261040?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43abfc81b0&vxp=mtr Make sure to get the "IDEAL" one made in the USA. The chineese ones melt the plastic, & won't last long. It comes with 3 packs of blades, & you can choose depth, 3 different wide cuts, & reverse the blades for siping. I invested my $50 a few years back, because I got tired of trying to borrow peoples. Works great for a hot knife! I preheat the rubber with a propane heater, or torch. As I rotate the tire, it cuts like butter. But even with preheat, you're looking at least an hour per tire though. Once you have the tool, you can do all you want.
