I've got a guy looking to do some trading and he's offering up some non-sticky bias 40" Treps in very good shape, he's put a very fair value on his tires ..a little too low! So are the street compound Treps **** offroad , weak or too stiff sidewall?

My Jeep see's as much street duty as possible so comp. tires are out of the question and I can't afford them anyway.

From what I've seen they are decent if it's above 70* but any cooler and they bring the suck. Way too hard and take a ton of wheel speed to clean out. I personally haven't run them but my wore out TSLs walked things they struggled on.

It seems like I see them for sale in very good shape pretty often..I'm guessing they look like comp. Treps but use some street tire high mileage rubber for parking lot Jeepers.

I ran a set of 40" on my TJ for awhile and was impressed for a non sticky street tire, I wouldn't hesitate to run them again.
