Today I will finish painting the front bumper and install it along with the rear tube fenders. Then I get to sit and wait for the rest of the parts to show up. :booo:

:cool: Cuz!
Wow, the front bumper sticks out a country mile! (Might just be an illusion tho...:redneck:)
Hey Bill, Whatcha doin' with the stock tires??? I know a buddy that wants exactly those for his Burb....:corn:

The bumper does stick out more than I would like, but less than the stocker. Its actually not as bad as the pictures show as I didnt have it all the way on/in. My first choice in bumpers required cutting the ends off the frame rails and I didnt want to go that far incase I ever wanted to put it back to stock.

The tires are for sale as are the wheels. I will separate if needed.

looking good so far. i cant justify spending the money on tube flares when cutting the stockers is free and opens up the wheel wells just as much. if they do happen to hit anything they just flex instead of pushing into the body. . that just my opinion though.

I see your point. I had Poison Spyder tube fenders on my TJ and they did a great job keeping stuff off the body and top. I figured they should work as well on the JK. I guess I will see once Im finished and I take it out for a shake down. :;

Spent the day finishing up with the rear fenders and the front bumper. Had some time so I went ahead with installing the winch as well.

:awesomework: Hey Bill what's your plan for balancing the tires? Looking good man!

If they were going on an offroad only rig, I would use airsoft bb's but since this is my daily driver, Im having Discount tire sipe and balance them.

So I got the tires mounted on the beadlocks and decided to throw them on the rig to see if they fit. I was surprised to find that they do although not enough clearance to wheel as I only have a couple of inches of uptravel before the tires would stuff into the fenders. Decided to leave them on as my lift should be here this week.

Drove it to Discount Tire to have the tires siped and balanced and nothing rubbed.
