I did get the steering stuff put back in and system bled--found I had ram hoses backwards, ya that was a lil odd. :haha:

I just gotta get some nylocks for the tie rod bolts and that is done,

Is that really a Rockwell 221 behind a 465? If so damned good idea to keep the rear driveline angle in check!

Good eyes.
Why any different with this unit? This was quite short and the rear output is low on the Rockwell.

It actually seems to line up very well.

Drug this baby out and got it all cleaned, polished up and start naking slider/steps while i wait for oarts..

Sorry about the parts. I JUST found out that Lee heard traffic was bad on Highway 2, so he decided NOT to drop the parts off and just come home...

UGHHH!

Just ordered the seats.

http://prpseats.com/product/suspension-bench-seat/
50" bench with 2 headrests, slots for the 5 point harness and the mud bottom. You should see them at your door Mike on April 13th.

The other parts, I have NO idea where they went. Lee decided to come home on Thursday instead of risking the traffic to Monroe on Thursday afternoon. Today, I cannot find him or my parts, or my business truck that he is using, even though he's not at work today ARGHHHHH.

I was trying to leave 30 minutes ago to beat traffic but the parts are not where they are supposed to be. I am wondering if he came and picked them up since I already drove to his house in Maple Valley to get them once today. Finally got him on the phone and he says they are at my house... Seriously???

That's awesome. Nobody uses the case because they can be hard to find parts for. They are rather tough though so I doubt t you'll have any issues with it. I'd never actually thought about using one of them in a flatty, it's pure genius. :redneck:

Genious, aka a stroke of BS luck!

Is this the one you were talking about dale?

I believe so. I ordered and sent you one a while ago. IIRC, we have an edlebrock manifold on there and that should have fit.

I know we are both getting older and this has been going on for a LONG time... but I recall you test fitting it and saying that it would work.

Looking at the pic of the installed motor, there's already a thermostat housing on there :confused
