Newbie to the site. I have wheeled moderate build CJ's since the late 80's.

Recently picked up a 97 TJ that some of you might recognize.

97 TJ, Dynatrac 60's, 5.13 ARBs, 4 linked, coil over bow, SAW Airs rear, full hydro, 40" Treps

Located in Tampa, Fl. but get up to the southeast trails as often as possible.

TJ tub sitting on a tube frame, 4.0L/AW4/D300 (HD'd), d60 - detroit'd - 3 linked, 14b - welded - 4 linked, 38.5"SX's on H1's. Works pretty good so far. Need to shave the 14b, skin the tub and build some decent sliders/mini boat sides.

Just got it trail worthy two weeks before dixie. This is a picture from Slade, KY.

Hey guys, My name is Chris, I live in South west FL, I dont have a buggy yet but im working on building a chassis. I finally came up with a design I like. For now I just trail ride in my M813a1.

97 TJ, my street queen turned into trailer queen.

Running a Superlift Long Arm kit that's been modified a bit, full width d44 rcv 5:38 spool, 9' rear full spool 35 spline.
Flipped d300 4x1 kit NWF Blackbox in front of that. 38SX's 207,000 miles and in serious need of a motor. Not sure yet what I'll put in it.

Hendrix Formula Toyota chassis #003

HREW lower with DOM upper tubes replaced last year. Wing window bar and cross braced.

Wheelbase is 106", Belly is 25 ", Overall Height is 75 ½ "

Engine- Stock 22RE

Transmission and T-cases- 5spd toy transmission, dual cases with lower gears in the rear case. Custom cross member, Measures ½” below the frame. Not quite flat belly but almost.

Front Axle- Toyota front with full gusset job, ARB with 4:88 gears, Longfield 30 spline axles, Marlin High Steer arms, upgraded Knuckle Studs and Hub stubs w/ extra dowel pins. Trail Gear Drive flanges with two runs on them. 2” spacers

Rear Axle- Toyota 8 inch with Fresh 4:88 gears (3 runs on them) and an ARB, Diff protection, Poly performance alloy shafts that are showing slight wear, 2” spacers.

Front Suspension-Trail Gear 5" Leaf springs, 14” Bilstein 5125 shocks.

Rear Suspension-Trail Gear 5” springs, currently with 2 leaves removed. Inboarded mounts. Trail Gear style traction bar, 14” Bilstein 14” 5125 shocks.

Steering- Stock Toyota power steering pump into a Trail Gear IFS box, Trail Gear Ram Assist, Front mounted Cooler.

Controls- CNC Brake master cylinder, CNC clutch master cylinder

Tires and wheels- Well broken in 37" Red Label BFG Krawlers (no plugs) on 17” Allied Beadlocks.

Extras- Large APC seats, DJ Safety 5-point harnesses, Yellow top optima, Steel and aluminum floors, 1/8" Steel roof and Hinged Hood, steering wheel disconnect, used 35" BFG all terrain spare on steel wheel w/plugs, Tmax 9000 with Winchline Synthetic rope with safety thimble and fairlead. OBA Viair 400C compressor with 2 gallon tank plumbed into the ARB with regulator and hose. High Lift jack with removable mount. 3 55 watt tractor style rock lights and 2 100 watt tractor style headlamps. 12 volt guy switch panel which I have yet to install.

Safety- Currently meets all 2008 WE Rock safety rules for the Formula Toy Class and 2009 Calrocs stock mod class. (Just drop down to 35” tires for the Calrocs class) Full firewall, Fuel line shut offs, First Aid Kit, Master power disconnect, Window net
