Doing a little work on the HEEP

Got trany and doubler n will have it mounted this weekend try 2 get some pic posted

glad to see that you are goin with the 400 instead of the 350 turbo,,with that doubler. i just had to do some riggin with mine. there is so much damn weight behind the tranny. my dad hasnt had any problems with his. and he has got the 400. guess i know what im changin to lol

Ive also welded up the back of the TH400 hope it wont brake

and is that a driver side drop 205?

I welded the back of the 400 where they like 2 brake and it a GM 205

oh ok. ya mine pulled the threads out of the tail. i had to drill oout the top two holes and retap the bottoms ones. it was a pain in the ass to take all that out for four holes. but will be swappin to a 400

your threads had to be junk in the first place

Payne welding the rib area wil keep that area from breaking, but it will break where it starts to neck down to the ribs if the trans and t-case are not supported correctly.

Ive seen 400 done like mine b4 they had ran them 4 a long time with out brakin so that y i done mine that way it better than stock

definitely better than stock and wasn't doggin it. Just sayin it will break right before it if it is not "mounted/supported correctly"

Winch mount done fual cell almost and made the rear driveshaft

what doubler kit are you running and are you running a stock intermediate shaft or an upgraded one?

Traveler on here made the doubler he takes the stock shaft and cuts it and the has it heat treated
