Just picked this junk up for $3000 on Sunday. It's my 7th one of these 80-series cruisers. It's the 2nd most expensive I've ever paid for one... once bought one for $600 and remark was made that I was the only person who could buy a $600 Land Cruiser and make it less valuable.

My motor-house is in the background, Where I live.

poor man's trailer.... flat-tow.
She getting new DD shoes.... again, CL specials... not expensive.

92 Land Cruiser, has a manual tranny/xfer from an FJ60 (pull-a-part special), lift, custom front bumper, custom sliders, aussie lockers F&R, has military tires right now, but gone get BFG's tomorrow.

At one point I had less than $125 in it. As she sits less than $1500 including the $800 soft top which I bought using money I won in a weight loss compition! Mosty a lot of horse trading.

Man! I'm gonna have to learn how to barter. I did a quick run down of parts on mine and was near $7000, just parts. They were almost all new parts and spread out over a long period of time, 20 years, so it didn't seem like much. Anyway my hat's off to you guys, wish I had known back then what you guys know now.

I am building a "Dirt Cheap Wheeler" on Xtreme this year...I am looking for a couple locals who have "no money" in you rig and want to come out for a trail ride with us. Will more than likely be at Wooleys because they are the closest to the shop and easy for our crew. Ride will be around Christmas on a Saturday....post up a pic of your rig in this thread and some info about it. If it looks like it will fit the show I will send you a PM
