I have a tube bender, notcher, and have/had no desire to try and make a buggy on my own. Prior efforts led to piles of scrap pipe.

I bit the bullet and order a 4 seater from Drew because I liked the line and wanted to take the family.

Heres whats the plan is:

6.0 LQ4, Built TH400 and NP205.
43" TSL/SX on DBL 16.5 Wheels
Dana 60/14 bolt going to weld rear and run a Spartan locker front for now. 4340 front shafts 35 spline with drive flanges.
Corbeau suspensions seats with a 36" bench in the rear.

This thing once welded is very room on the interior. Im 6'4" and have a good amount of leg room.

I bought my links and heims from Drew and all this is super easy to setup.

Need some opinions from everyone. I am running a TH400 Built with Reverse manual valve body, engine braking by TCI. and a 2200 stall. Would you run the tranny cooler from the radiator or the Derale I have mounted with electric fan above engine? I was against the wall on whether or not to use the cooler for Power Steering or TH400. I have a 12" fin style cooler that I purchased originally for my steering.

Thoughts?

I have seen a few oem transmission coolers in radiator crack, fill the trans with coolant=clutches slip. Not worth the gamble for me. I would keep the fluids separated. thumb.gif

What about 3bypass shocks? is thsi something I could add that would help a lot??

Anything I am missing on my build??

Thanks for the compliments! I want to race this this year in the SRRS. I dont think I can even fit a coilover carrier and the bypass. WOuld love it thought!
