Buggy rebuild

Havent seen the FATTSHACK guys in a while. Sound like fun. We'll have a couple rigs there. Buddy just picked up a yota, maybe he can join you anti-"heep" club ;D

Buggy has been working really good. Took it to Harlan, climbed little Jagger and a bunch of other hard trails and have also done a bunch of local trails. I broke a rear output shaft on the Dana 300, replaced now with 32 spline output shaft and 4 to 1 kit. Tranny also never worked since I got it, so I pulled it out while I had the Dana 300 apart. We found the 3rd and 4th clutches completely burnt. Rebuilt tranny and just got it all back together. All seems to be working right going to break it in this weekend. booyang

Not sure of the size I will measure. I have not yet had a problem with over heating. It normaly runs below 210

It's been a while, but I have the buggy pretty much complete. Took it to Harlan last week and it did awesome!! I still need to build my roof, but here you go.

how long is your trailer?

Went to Chocco last weekend had a great time here is a video of me climbing Violator. Buggy works very well, just got to get use to what a V-8 can do. :eat:

So, it's been a little while, time for an update!! I broke my Dana 300 in half trying to follow John G in the Solo buggy :****:.... All the gears and everything where still good just not the case. My buddy Adam had a case and put all my 4 to 1 stuff in it and also did a little bracing and plating on the case. It shouldn't brake the case again!!

I also added a support bracket to the chassis. I also worked out a trade with my old heavy ass 43 SX and scored some crawlers and raceline wheels!! Looks a lot better in my opinion.. I am also working on some skins for the cold days. Will post some pics when I finish those up.

Thanks, the buggy has been doing great since the rebuild. I did my first hill race at AOP for new years. Probably not the best hill since only one person made it up, but it was still fun. Many more to come. booyang

Wow, haven't looked at before and after pics like that in a while. Looks like and is a totally different buggy.
