Location
in tha garage blowing smoke...
Stretching the front end my rig out 4 more inches. I have done some research, wanted to get yawls opinion and not pirates .. Now that the front is farther out, I have to do one of two things.. Either cut bracket off a frame and move it forward in front of the axle a little bit like it is now OR put a bend in the trackbar.. Or does it even make a difference? Thanks for any advise fellas. Soon as I get your input I will get to it!! Thanks again! Not Sure if this helps but This picture shows the current location, of course before I moved the axle up it just missed the diff perfectly..

I would cut and move to keep a straight angle. Seems like it would be binding under heavy side load with a bend. It doesn't matter the bends in a link just the location of the ends.

How hard would it be to move the bracket on the axle end?

Looks like if the axle was farther forward in relation to the frame side bracket, that you could get more up-travel before the track bar hits the pumpkin. :dunno:

These pictures are after moving the axle forward 3 inches or so. Before, the track bar bracket was a little in front of the axle and it seemed to work good. , at full bump the track bar just barely missed the front the diff cove.. Now it will be right on top of the pumpkin,(where I would think would be the best location) I could be wrong( happens Alot) but I would think you would want it as parallel and over top of the axle as possible. The bracket on the frame would be easiest to move for sure. I just did not know if the bracket being in front of the axle hindered performance worse then bending the track bar or if it even mattered. I figured a bend would be okay as long as it wasn't too crazy.. Here's some pics.. Haven't moved the bracket yet..
