Re:

This guy might be dropping some coin on a better trailer, better living quarters and a few extra bucks on my Buggy in the not so distant future.

Everything hit the fan starting this morning and I almost missed the ride. Thank you Ryan for being the man, Again.

Might have to change my name to mediumbudgetjunk.

Went to pull the buggy in the garage today to get it ready and it was out of gas due to a cracked weld seam on the bottom of the alum. tank . pulled it out tonight and welded it up. Will be putting it back in tomorrow. Seems like its always something.

What are your skins made out of that they can bend like that?

I had the same thing happen to my fuel cell a while back. Tig'd it back up and all was fine for a while and then is started sweating fuel from the same area again. Pretty sure my problem was related to stress on the tank from the way I had it mounted but anyway, I repaired it a second time with that fuel tank putty and haven't had a problem since. Pick some up and throw it in your trail bag, it's handy stuff to have and makes for a quick fix. I believe the stuff I used was "Permatex 12020 Instant Gas Tank Repair, 1 oz. stick"

I'll be sure to pick some up today. Thanks for the info.

Were coming up from georgia tomorrow and will be there round lunch. We are staying on the Putney side but, we will hit the trail about 130-200 and be riding on the Evarts side. Its close and easy to get back to camp. Not sure if you`ve been to harlan but coming up from the evarts side just drive straight past the checkin point and come all the way up and you`ll see some areas to play onto your right. We`ll be around there. White Yukon, green jeep, white Buggy, green bronco and a few more. Were leavin about 530 this eve and driving past Atlanta and getting a room. Starting to wish I would have put another windsheild in my yukon with all this rain.

A Laffy Taffy Stick :****:

We rode with a guy and he had a hair line crack on his alum fuel cell that was leaking fuel. rub it up and down the crack and it sealed it right up. He rode two days with no more leaks.

DAM!!! 80% chance of thunderstorms and rain for Friday and Saturday! I have been looking forward to this ride since the beginning! but driving 6 hours to be in the most shitty weather possible, takes some of the excitement out of it!

Trail wheelin plans...

Gonna just try & hit most everything on the Eastern side of the park Friday....

Startin with YOUR TURN then the bottom loop of CRAWFORDS CRY then over to TROUBLE "but if raining not shure bout TROUBLE' :dunno:

Then play at the TAILGATE ,MIDDLE FORK PLAYGROUND area, then loop back in and hit LOWERDAMNATION ,LOWER ROCK GARDEN ,KILLIN TIME,MIDDEL ROCK GARDEN ,SHAMELESS ,INTIMIDATOR,bla bla bla etc.

Saturday I have a trail ride planned out on the Western side of the park,,,,starting with a long trail ride over to the old Locomotive Barn first, then up to MASON JAR,,,then on up to LIONS DEN,,,then back down and do the entire length of TRAIL 15 over to the crawls at WHITE TAIL CRAWL and then back down and hit PIN BALL,RAIL BED ,CREAM PUFF,FISH FOSSIL,STEELE HILL,,,,"all the stuff close to Evarts at the end of the day" and be done.

Note ALL TRAIL PLANS subject to change if massive monsoonic downpours hit us on either day ;D

Yea this ride is gonna be ruined if this crappy forcast doesn't change.

NOT gonna be any fun up in that park with it rainy and foggy all damn day,,,no fun climbs,,,no scenic views...."I,ve wheeled there twice now with it like that"....would rather save my vacation moneys at this point if the forcast don't change :dunno:
