Baja RZR Build

Re: RZR Build for the Baja 1000

Just got back from pre running the 1275 mile course and it is a blast. We're looking to possibly race next year but pre running is awesome either way. Did you race this year?

Were you the group that was with CJ Bynum? I saw that he was in Baja and pre-ran. He had posted something about "Qualification" or something and not being able to run?
No we did not go this year. We are going next year. We are getting close to finishing our Razor back to a roller.

How long did it take you guys to pre-run the coarse?

Yes. I'm CJs dad so I was with that group. LOL

We wanted to race this year but they don't have any kind of stock UTV class as you've probably seen. We didn't have the time to build one to fit their rules this year. I've been before and wanted to let CJ see what it's like so we went to pre run anyway. We're looking to possibly put a team together for next year with 2-4 drivers. 3 of the guys with us this trip raced in the quad class. We spent 5 days at 225-290 miles a day which can still turn into long days. I know some local people there so it helps us with logistics and I've learned a lot on my trips so far.

Well hello Dad. ahaha Yes I saw that trailer full of awesome you guys carried down south.

As far as the class that's why we started building ours a year and a half out. Art from score is coming to Dallas to tech our car in late December. If you guys do decide to race next year keep in touch. Im sure we could pre-run together and share info. Our plan is really just to finish. But it would be nice to finish at the top. But seeing that we have never raced like this we are going to stay humble. Give me shout later this year if you decide to race. 469-358-3605 Wesley

Will do.

Finishing is a big accomplishment in it self.

Re:

Did you ditch the reclining seats? Couldn't you make a back bar with adjustable pins to allow reclining/movement of the seats? Use the stock RZR front passenger grab handle for a visual reference.

Eric Hagan......I mean Kel Lawrence

Still got the seat lol. I really AM ducking my head on that haha. The back bar per score has to be welding per my understanding. I got a buddy whos thinking of selling a set of seats. So naturally I ask if he would sell to me.
Ya we intend to put the grab handle back in, with a twist. Stand BY!

She is off the jig. Now we wait for the radiator to get in and new long travel suspension kit.
