JD2 model 32 electric hydraulic conversion

Hi. Im currently converting my JD2 Model 32 to electric hydraulics using a 2hp Leeson motor. wiring it for 220v ac it draws 9.2 amps. Im a little confused on the wiring as I rarely do ac wiring. Im not sure if I need to use two wire- 2 hots and ground or 3 wire- 2 hots , neutral and a ground.
on the motor I know one hot goes to L1 and the other hot to L2 and the ground to the ground screw on the frame/chassis of the motor. the dual solenoid valve is rated for 230v and so is the remote control. I just don't know what to do with the solenoid and remote wiring. im sure I wil need a junction box. any help is appreciated.

Havent figured it out yet. This is a project i work on in my spare time when im not busting my ass in the oil patch. Not in a huge rush but want it done right without letting the smoke out of my motor. Im not sure if i got the right remote or not now or if it just needs to be modified. Im almost wishing i bought a 110v ac solenoid valve instead of the 230v one i got. I msgd the manufacturer yesterday to see if i can operate my dual solenoid valve using 110v ac or if its only operated using 200-250v ac. But of course its the wknd so im waiting on a response or someone knowledgable to chime in
