I figured it would be a good idea to put some pressure numbers out there to help people setup there ORI's anyone who has any good info please share and share your numbers
Specs 89 jeep yj with back half 5.3 th350 atlas 4 speed dana 60 front 14 bolt rear 43 tsl sx h1 wheels

I don't know weight but guess around 5000

I have played a lot with pressures and the best I have got so far is 160 lower fronts
145 lower rears I ride with 6-7 inch shaft showing on 16inch ORI's I have found that this setup is nice and stable and also allows you to jump and not blow through the bump stops it rides pretty good as well

Bombshell is 4000 pounds with rear engine. Run 90 in the front lowers and 110 in the rears. As low as I can run them for a soft ride and no body roll.

I run about 100 in the lowers front and rear. And about 400-450 I think in the uppers with about 5" showing truck weighs about 5800lbs.

4300 lb jeep, 120 front lowers, 100 rear lowers. 5.5 inches of chrome showing on 14's in the front, 7 inches of chrome on 18's in the rear. Enough in the tops to get it to ride height.

I am putting ORIs on my Yota buggy. The original suspension had 18 inch coilovers, which makes me think to go back with 18 inch ORIs. But, from what I've read, you can go two inches shorter and get the same results. What say you? Is that garbage? The money difference isn't that much and I want to gent it right the first go round.

14" stx's all 4 corners.. Bottom chamber anywhere from 120- 140.. And the top, whatever it takes to get the ride height I want. Usually around 240ish I believe. I go higher then let some out after cycling suspension. I run mine kinda low also. I know they say the best performance is with half of the shaft showing, I have tried it and haven't seen any better performance. Just higher ride height that I wanted.. I adjust mine a lot. Certain parks I change it.. Lower for mostly hill killin and raise it a lil for more rock obsticles. Either way I've never been disappointed.. Here it is with my 40's ..

I have an 05 TJ, D60's front and rear, 5.38 gears, Atlas, 350 RamJet sitting on 14" ORI's all corners. I have the front lower set at 180 and the rear lowers at 170 and have 7" of chrome showing for all four.

Very nice! I've never put that much pressure in my lower chambers.. I'm a try it and see what it feels like. Sometimes I think 140 is too stiff? Then I read some people run and 80 to 100 in the lowers!! And can imagine they would bottom out pretty often.. That's a nice jeep.

I only went that high because I had a bad torque converter and while setting idle my jeep would try and drive through the brakes and would twist like crazy. so I juiced the struts up to counter the twist lol, but when crawling the rocks it just seemed to handle really good so I left them there. I started with a 100 in the bottom at all four but at that pressure I was getting extreme body roll. So then I set them at 150 and the jeep felt pretty good at that point but I was still getting a little twisting sitting there with my brakes on. I have since replaced the torque converter with a higher stall and the twisting issues have gone away. I may take my struts back down to 150 in the front and 160 in the rear.

And your jeep looks cool also.

14" fronts, 75 lowers/125 uppers
16" rears, 75 lowers / 100 uppers

But everyone knows my rig don't work ????

This is as far as I have gotten with mine

Great thread! I was wondering what pressures everyone was running

A buddy of mine had a set and I couldn't believe how comfortable the ride was, that's what sold me on them

and Mo, your rig does work......... when Josh is driving ;D

I only run 110 to 120 in the lowers on 16 inch front and rear. I have run as low as 90. I run 8 inches of up travel in the front and 6 in the rear.
I would imagine the ride would be rock hard with the pressure as high as 150. Plus the top pressure will have to be higher because it fights the bottom pressure.
