This rig will be set up to race some of the rock bouncing series as well as trail ride any and every time I can. I noticed several bouncers don't have some of the things that I think are important to have when out on the trail, so I really wanted to make sure this was set up to have most of what I need for a good ride.

Adequately sized fuel tank for a weekend of riding (this one is 15 gallons)
Toolbox big enough to haul a tool bag with some essentials
Music
Place to haul a cooler big enough to hold a 30 rack of beer in case you get in a survival situation on the trail

I also want a horn, but I'm still trying to win that battle... :p

Party tunes
Wet Sounds Stealth 10 soundbar should get the job done. We were pretty limited in space in a few different areas on this build, but I wanted to fit in some speakers for music if I could. This sound bar tucked in quite nicely and should sound pretty good.

Stop and go.
Brakes and steering.
I am actually pretty excited about the hydroboost brake setup on this thing, and I really like the high steer on top of the steering arms.

Looks bling! :cougar: the first scratch is gonna hurt! Badass build, got my deposit in about a month ago, enjoy watching what WOD does!

Oh, I'm already dreading that first scratch/dent/rollover. Are you have one built too?

Yes, just waiting on axles to show up, so they can start the chassis. Can't wait to see this finished up

Can't wait to see this pink buggy hitting it with hammer down...,

Like the fact you kept in mind the trail ride things... Really only thing that has stopped me from building a buggy

Awesome! I will have to keep an eye out for that build! Evolution chassis?

Sadly she's not alone. Are we caught up to real time now with the build?

Yep, I think we're pretty much caught up now. This was a rolling chassis when we first picked it up, so there haven't been too many big updates until the dash, toolbox, etc.
The chassis just got back from powder coat, and the guys at WOD are buttoning everything up. Should be ready to go in a couple weeks, I think. I'll try to post up some more pics as I can get them. :) loller.gif thumb.gif

Thanks! I can't wait either.
I really don't see why you can't have it all - have a rig capable enough to do a little racing AND have nice weekend rides with friends and family. I plan to do it all, and I'm stoked I have a rig set up for it. Hopefully I can keep it in one piece and on four wheels (or at least two... most of the time) ;)

It's certainly going to stand out.

Saw it yesterday, I think it's pretty cool. thumb.gif

Apparently it's one of those colors that changes alot in the light

Ahh!!! Such sweet progress! She is back from powder coat, and the guys at Wide Open Design are buttoning everything up. Won't be too long now!
