"Half an inch off" (budget) rockwell build

Haha! I'm not going to run open headers. I MIGHT have enough room for 2 pipes that run into an X and back out under the passenger seat. Other wise I will Y it into 1 at the oil pan area then I'm not sure. Maybe weld in something that baffles it a little bit.

I saw that coolant reservoir you picked up. Didn't find it myself while quickly browsing on ebay??? Was that vented? I used a powerade bottle on my firewall buggy, worked great but not going to do that on this one. ;D

I thought mine was black-horse racing. It has two tubes one is flush with bottom of can, the other goes about 3/4 the way up inside can. It has an Oring on cap. It's nice for the price.
I had an used fire extinguisher, I was going to use the bottom of it. I've seen a couple people use them they actually work well. However With it being right behind my head I like the sealed can with the vent tube.
I believe mine is 2x10 I would go bigger.

Getting ready for hardline ride. I went ahead and added about 80 more zip ties, just in case someone thinks they can out ghetto me.

Added some rear lighting and one mounted up high shining forward. Put them on their own circuit n
Added a second fire extinguisher.
Tried to change the pinion seal on front axle but could not get the pinion nut to loosen.
I started to grove the tires with the grinder/chainsaw of death. I did 1/4 of one tire in about a minute, but it was a mess and moved on to something else.
Also changed out my rear springs. I noticed I may have a shock leaking. So I may do a write up on rebuilding sway a way shocks.

Had to repair my driveshaft. I popped the front end up on backside (choc) and never let out when the front came down hard. I believe that's when it twisted.
I almost got a 45 degree twist. :****:

I have more. Know that. However you use yours for some pretty vital areas.
I'm quantity your more quality.

Only good pic I got from hardline ride.
I rode hard for two days (or at least what I thought was hard, I'm sure if someone got any videos it will look like I'm ***** footing it)never backed away from a trail without giving it a good bump or two. Had hardly any troubles. I lost a belt and some fluids but drove it back to the trailer.

Sorry I went up that hill in one shot. 8) Next time, I'll back up and get stuck and give you a better ride.

IDK if it's a good pic, but you, your buggy and that damn belt are on it ;D

That may be my favorite picture of my rig, thanks. If it had a little more tread on the tires and a little less kmcminn in the picture it would be perfect.

Damage report from HPO hardline ride.
Bent lower rear link
Tweaked rotor guard
Power steering pump belt
Two broken zipties

Man that sucks about the zip ties :rolf: I know you work hard on those. Your buggy looks good, I will be glad when I'm to the point of being able to break stuff
