Again, Sami's rock!!

82 CJ8 Scrambler 350 on pane 350 /Atlas 60 front 14 Rear Yukons both ends 4 link rear leaf front with 42 MTR stickies now. I'm in a big debate with myself, I love the full bodies but really thinking about cutting the old school exo off the Scrambler and going Juggy style. Exo has sure saved the Body tho! Opinions?

Tough call, I'm no real fan of the exo's, but I sure hate to see a scrambler get beat up. is you profile pic your buggy? If so, keep the scrammy in tact and beat on the buggy!!

I built the buggy and sold it. Everybody I wheel with have full body rigs so went back to crawler. Love the Scrambler but also enjoy bending tube. Really leaning towards Juggy?

I wouldn't cut up the scrambler for a juggy, plenty of short cjs that you could chop the back off. That thing is dam nice, and the hard top makes it even better. Bend up a new exo cage that fits tighter to the roof and follows the upper rail of the bed, instead of the long angles to the very back and :driving: :driving:

It was an easy call for me to juggy, but mine wasn't in nearly as nice of shape as yours is. On the flip side, I don't think I could bring myself to even wheel a Jeep that looked that nice.

Cut the exo and do that thing some justice, that's a bad rig. I hate exo cages... I wheel with all buggies and I have been able to keep my junk nice. I like pulling into the parking lot with something that looks like in belongs at the mall or car show and surprise people. I guess I don't get the "I couldn't wheel something that nice" statements.

Re:

I'd just build a "better exo"

Not really an exo, but put rub rails through the back of the tub, tuck the rockers up, etc. Take the windshield off when you don't need it and such

If you don't mind skipping trails or obstacles that you know will cause body damage that works out fine. As you can see from my before pic on the previous page, I didn't skip those.

I do not believe in the BUNNY trails! I havnt had to do any yet and don't plan on starting because of body damage. I just think the EXO is dated, maybe like you guys have touched on sorta update and do the best of both worlds. I love running the top and windshield, nothing like being dry at the end of the day.

I guess I just don't drive by braille. Cant say I back down from any trails either.

My family cruiser, 2001 Dakota, Stock 4.7 drivetrain, 60 front 3 linked on FOA's, 14 bolt rear 4 linked on coils, both locked, 42" tsl's.

I love it man! :dblthumb:

Wish I had something like that but built with a 1st gen Durango.

I've got an 02 sxt that I daily drive..it'll be retired to become a solid axle rig one day ;D It's on the 2nd motor, first one wasn't to fond of 100 shots of happy gas.

Haha, I heard that. I had an 03 R/T 5.9 that I just sold back in the fall. I always wanted to put full width, solid front axle under it.

There was a blue one that seen for sale years ago that has rocks under it.....always wished I could've bought it.

My 85 Truggy POS.......not any cool wheeling pics, cause I work a weird schedule and only have time for the easy trails on Ft Huachuca.
