Dixie Run To Windrock For 2020?? TonyB Approved??

Windrock Hopefully will be able support a wide variety of vehicles. I am not sure on how all the details will pan out. ( I learned about this selection last Saturday myself) But it will be worked on by a group of people for the next few months. If you have any thoughts on how to make this a great venue or anything that you would like to see at the First Dixie Run at Windrock please feel free to reach out to me. I will do my best to get your feed back heard.

I'll go if you promise to tell us where all the money goes......

The pavilion off of trail 26 @ Windrock, DBBB, Coal Mount Tennessee, Uwharrie, Plus many other things like Crawling for Reid and St. Jude's Four Wheeling For a Cure. I adding a link to the Grant page. https://www.sfwda.org/grants This will tell you a few more. But we constantly have things going on. If you have an idea or know of somewhere that could benefit from this feel free to fill out an application.

If one is really interested, attending the annual meeting where all this is discussed in detail would be a great idea. If you can't travel to Oak Ridge where it is held then you can join live stream. There is a lot of info out there and a lot of people who spend countless hours of their time as volunteers trying to make our sport better but I guess it is easier being a keyboard commando than actually trying to help our sport and thank you J.P. I know you are one of them. So the saying goes don't complain about who is elected if you don't show up to vote. Ignorance is bliss.

Tony, you crack me up. Hope to see up on the trails. Your vast knowledge and stewardship of Windrock could prove to be helpful for all of the out of town guest that will be there. Also it would be a great opportunity for you to ask questions about and get some first hand perspective of SFWDA.

i almost linked the grant page because i knew it was coming. i'm not wasting my time messing with the sfwda clowns. Hope you have a steller JK event.

No Sir, I respectfully thank you for thinking I know my way around Windrock, but there are many many more knowledgeable than I. I know where I like to ride and what level of convenience is acceptable to me.

As for SFWDA, they have been requested numerous times on here, Facebook and I believe by others that have actually dedicated their time to involve themselves at a meeting. All of SFWDA answers only triggered the same if not more/different questions.

If you feel you are supporting an organization that is your best needs, by all means continue. I have not, nor ever will participate in anything associated with SFWDA.

Bring back Tellico
I wished, I was Just down there the other weekend in my street Jeep thinking to myself how much I missed riding there. I have been around SFWDA and the Sport since 1995. I miss Tellico as much as everyone else. Wish the tide could have been turned there. Have you been up to trail 5...or what it use to be. It took an extra hateful person to do what Marry Sue Hillard did to that trail system. Upper and lower 2 the same way. I don't know if we could have ever won that fight, but I know we tried.

I am only new to Forum not the off road community I know what it is about

J.p., I'll warn you, I'm very anti sfwda. I've spent more time than I care to admit asking for their tax forms, to which I finally received and dissected. I asked more questions, and they got dismissed. So due to that, I'm out.

That said, you seem to have a somewhat level head about this and haven't responded like a complete nutsack like most sfwda representatives have in the past. So who are you? What are your ties to sfwda? Just a member? On the board? (This might have been covered before and I missed it). Asking to legitimately attempt to close the gap. I 100% think if the money that sfwda collects was actually being used in an appropriate way and could be accounted for/proven then it could sway MOST of this board. Which has everything from no names like myself, to major business owners in the Offroad world, to the majority of the guys running the race series's.
