I have a 4 door JK with 35's. (3.6L with auto trans). Don't wheel it and don't tow anything, so I'm not considering that into the equation.
That said, anyone have any real world experience they'd care to share? I know what all the charts recommend but I'm curious what people are actually running.

I ran 4.88 in my 2 door Manual JK with 35ished sized tires. It went from never using 6th to actually being able to accelerate in 6th. I couldn't really use 1st for daily driving. I would just start in second. If I remember correctly, I would run about 2700 Rpm at 60mph in 6th. Don't forget to get a programmer if yours is Auto.

If your not going to wheel it 4.88's should be good. I have 5.13's on 37's and @70 I'm just under 3k rpms and only get 12 miles per gallon on 2016 4 door. But, I do wheel mine and like the lower gears for the rocks.

When I re-geared a lot of people suggested 4.88's. I ended up going with 5.13's and they run great down the highway.
2012 JKU, Coilover's and 37" Wild peak MT's

In case anyone else has this question one day, here is an update:

I ended up with 5.13's. I like having the power back and enjoy not having it downshift all the time, but I am still getting used to driving slower. If I had a longer commute to work or planned to travel further distances with this thing, I think 4.88's might have been a better choice. I am running 3000-3100 RPMS @ 70mph. I guess if I need to go faster then I'll try some 37's when it's time for new tires. In the meantime, I'll just have to enjoy more time in the slow lane.
