Cool blazer. The cage looks nice, strong, and simple. It doesnt look like a rolling jungle gym like so many projects like that turn out to be. Very cool!!!

yeah door bars, seat bars and some triangulation in back. grab bar across the dash.

What kind of tube is that? Would you use the same tube on a toyota as you would on a big blazer like that or did/would you get thinker stuff??

The tube we used was 2" .120 DOM I dont think you would use the same size tube, Maybe 1 1/2 or 1 3/4.

2" is way too big for a toy...

The cage looks good blazer77 except for the back c-pillars. The bend near the bedline will be a failurepoint on a hard impact. but the rest looks good.

Here are some pics of the way my cage turned out. My buddy matt is a navy welder and did all the welding to my cage. Let me know what you think.

I think it looks great. I really like how the cage is not in the way if you needed to drop the tailgate and slide something in the back. Very functional.
:clappy: :clappy: :cheer:

when we put the seats in we added some triangulation \ / to the b hoop which also holds the 4 point harness. i would have liked one diaganol across the b but he wanted to maintain acess to the back seat for kids. all in all it will work.
