Thats because of the wheels and tires. Im going to try and buy some 17x8 with a 3.75 bs whels for it.

First of all looks good man, always nice to see any first gen 4runners out there. Ive got an odd question are you going to lose the tube steps? If so i want them... haha

looks to be a dana 44

Chevy d44 out of a 78 3/4 ton.

So Im switching projects just cause money is tight and the sami is going to cost more to finish. Just picked this up tonight and now i need a turbo 350 4x4 trans.

I got two of these for spare as Im sure i will brake one.

So there is now a dana 60 in the front and a 14 bolt in the rear. Getting my 4.7 to 1 set up by Odie with bobbys chromo output shaft. Engine tranny and cases are going in in the next two weeks and the cage is going in this week. I hoping to have it all done by the middle of next month. I picked up some holley pro injection for the engine tonight so I wont have the carb crap out on me. Pics up soon.

If the pro jection fawks with ya get rid of it quick. Ive had a few friends battle with it and gave up on it.

I bought the analog system which doesnt have many plugs and one brain box.Im hoping it will work good. What kinda problems was it having?
