    Poolman passed away

Man I hate to hear that. Didn’t have a lot of dealings with him, but the few I did, he seemed like a pretty standup dude.

    Vehicle Market predictions

Not sure where they’re selling at, but sure as heck not around here. I bet there aren’t 6 new super duty trucks sitting on the three ford lots near me. I did see where someone local ish waited 10 months on their power stroke to come in and when it got here it had the gas motor in it.

    Vehicle Market predictions

There are lots all over, packed to the brim with 2021 super duty trucks(among other vehicles and manufacturers). Thousands of them. If chips don’t come in til 2023, there will be thousands of 2021’s that are new old stock. Do we really think they are going to sell them at the same sticker price...

    Gas or Diesel??

Towing up a grade with a load and not losing speed or temperatures climbing is. My Chevy was horrible at both of those things. I know yours is a 3/4, so I’m sure it’s fine.

    Gas or Diesel??

I’m sure it just scoots right up Mont Eagle without ever dropping a gear.

    Gas or Diesel??

Atleast we can agree on that.

    Gas or Diesel??

No,I probably wouldn’t either. Maybbbe with some upgrades(air bags, load distribution, truck tires, etc…). But definitely not cross country or anything like that. What in the heck are you doing with 36’ of trailer? Buggy takes up 14’ ish. You stretching them long legs in the remaining 22’? I...

    Vehicle Market predictions

With the new addition of a crawler hauler, looking at making some cross country trips within the next year or two, and the family growing, we are looking at upgrading to a diesel. But with the current market prices for used, I’m holding out(indefinitely). All that said, what’s everyone’s...

    Gas or Diesel??

Is that loaded with buggy, spares and all that? I feel like 36 ft of enclosed could get real heavy real fast..

How wide is too wide? Axles…

I’m around 91” wide. I love it. Super stable. Very rarely do I find myself cussing my width. Normally it’s only when I’m at parks that are overgrown. That kinda blows.

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

Here recently there’s been a couple videos of jk’s burning to the ground because of their offbrand spod. I think that’s a great move on your part. Electrical is simple if you keep it that way.

    Gas or Diesel??

To be clear, I’ve never said it’ll out pull a diesel 3/4 ton. But I’d still put it against any gas 3/4 ton truck.

    Gas or Diesel??

Yep. And we talked about yours. There’s a reason you had a different experience.

    Gas or Diesel??

Interesting….all these people saying they’re 1/2 ton is towing better than their 3/4 ton trucks….hmmm

    Hale Closed.

They’re normally closed for the summer months. Then reopen in September or October. I’ve not heard of them permanently closing. Last time I was there they were clearing a new parking lot and building a new road back to it.

    Buckle up

True story I’ve got a family friend who lost their uncle a couple years back. He had been stuck in a mud hole, got out, winched it out. Got back in to drive off and it slid back into the rut. When it slid he bounced in the drivers seat and hit his head on the cage. That was all it took.
