    Was that you the other night I was blinding with my headlights, following the road grader? I was in the servicetruck that plowed first tracks up San Juan hill. Bout 3 weeks ago. I got out and talked to some younger guy in a new CTD dodge that was following the grader. Jacks pass is alright...

    Ieve the exact verbage on the Northwest Forest Pass says it is for parking at day use/recreation sites on national forest land. I always just hang mine In the window whenever I'm parked anywere in the national forest.

    Thats what i thought :haha: My buddy james is on his 2nd set of 35" MT/r Kevlars in less than 20k miles with the welded diff. :haha: We are swapping it over to a lunchbox style in an open carrier. Welded diffs EAT tires on the street.

    The 5 speed is a peugeot BA-10. Run like the wind. Worst trans possible behind the 4.0 I have a friend with a woodie wagoneer that is a 4.0/aw4 combo. I'll ask him how much he wants if you are intrested.

    Your buddy must have been high. Aluminum centersection rear dana 44 was NEVER put in an xj. They were in WJ grand cherokees from 99-04. The chrylser 8.25 isnt a bad axle. much better than a dana 35. The disconnect is another point of failure. Slide coller engagement issues, another place...

    He works in a structural steel shop ( i used to work there) The shop has two Mag drills and TONS of Jancy Slugger broaches for cutting holes. THe kind with the Center point finder. Love them and they last forever compared to drill bits...
