Have you ever seen a cam lobe like this? I figured if it gets bad it will wipe out the whole lobe, but this cam had 3 lobes with the tip worn a little. Found this while doing a cam swap Would you run a new cam in it or swap lifters also?

Am i the lucky one or does everybody else fight the tire bead to get around the lip on the lock side? As i work the bead around with flat head screw drivers it just doenst come close to fitting up. Am i going to have to trim the bead down?

For the do it yourselfers what is the best bang for the buck on a tig setup. Im happy with my current mig setup so im not really looking for a multi process setup. Just a dedicated tig machine. I have zero experience with these, but hopefully i can get setup and learn it.
