    Is anyone actually riding?

Oh, and some guy offered me 80k for my buggy. . Sounded pretty serious but I turned him down since I didn't want to be rigless. Looking back, I could've easily bought something decent and had a bunch leftover to make it really nice. Hopefully I come across him again.

    Is anyone actually riding?

Made it out for a bit yesterday. Nothing spectacular but a good time still. Just the wife and kids along. She made a couple of climbs that surprised both of us. One of which was a steep dirt hill that, of course, had an unfortunately placed boulder in the middle of it. After I got out the top I...

    Scan Tools

I'm not gonna drop names but a buddy reached out with a loaner scan tool if I do end up tackling this myself. Appreciate the suggestions though.

    Scan Tools

I'm assuming a bad batch made for 2017-18. They use the same parts from 12-18, then changed in 19. I found a wrecked 18 that the salvage yard wants $300 for the unit. Might go that route but also expecting a recall sooner or later so part of me wants to wait and see. The truck sits most of the...

    Scan Tools

So the backordered part shows up as available on mopars site. I called to confirm and much to the surprise of the guy helping me, there's only 150 units in the country and they're all reserve allocated or something like that. Basically means they can't be released due to a potential issue. I've...

    Scan Tools

So I recently got "service abs and electronic braking system" messages on my 2018 ram 3500. Internet searching confirmed what the dealership said that it needs a new abs module and hydraulic control unit. Apparently is a well known issue that the NHTSA has opened an investigation on. Hopefully...

Diesel fuel is in short supply

Still sucks that some stations will jack up the price to offset the fleet discount.

Diesel fuel is in short supply

Yeah. And this one isn't even a dedicated truckstop. Just happens to have a small row of truck pumps. Nothing but greed

Diesel fuel is in short supply

These two stations are less than a mile apart. Guess which one can accommodate truckers.

    School me on bump stops

I tried to get fancy and tig'd in my cans. Was pretty new to tig so probably way too hot and too slow.

    School me on bump stops

This is exactly what happened to me. Warped the hell out of them. Wore out 2 sets of stones with the hone and still didn't fit. Ended up making a slice.

So question are any of y’all running a sway? And if you do front or rear or both? Solid axles rear steer buggy

Yessir. Running rear TK1's on both mine and the wife's rigs. Huge improvement in stability and much more predictable characteristics. If you happen to go with TK1, I'd recommend changing up the lower tabs. Unsurprisingly, I bent both of the single shear ⅛" tabs. Upgraded to double shear ¼" and...

The lack of nutsacks leads me to believe things are slightly less gay than in the past.

    Fuel pressure guage

I've been running one for about 5 years now. No issues at all

Houses are overrated. Wheeling is way more fun

    This place is dead...

Obviously, I'm still here. But I honestly don't have much going on. Rigs are built and usually nothing too remarkable when I do get to wheel. Seems like it happened to everyone at the same time

    "New" Park in PA

The story I heard was the landowner pulled the lease from the folks running Paragon to build an airport only to realize after the fact that he couldn't get the permits to do so. But I guess it took years to come to that conclusion so it wasn't like they could just say nevermind and reopen the...

    "New" Park in PA

You're absolutely right. Realistically, I only have like 2 parks that are close enough to drive to and wheel in a day. This would make 3. I can cover most of the challenging stuff at Rausch in a day and still exploring aoaa. I'm definitely excited to have another close option. I wheeled it once...
