    I.w.i.w clampy

I'd be surprised if any of the cheapest generic shocks have application specific valving. Rancho 5000s are available in pretty much any length as a universal shock. You could always step up to a 9000 and get the adjustable clicker. It looks like Summit has some generic black "truck shocks"...

Seeking 383 propane engine build advice

I don't think it's mathematically possible to build an engine that will run on propane and pump gas and get close to equal performance (power/consumption/mileage/however you want to measure "performance"). Propane just doesn't have the energy density. I'd venture to guess that 'Burb will get...

Seeking 383 propane engine build advice

I appreciate the idea of dual fuel, but it seems awfully convoluted when there are literally no benefits to propane as a fuel for a road vehicle. It's safer and simpler in industrial applications and rock crawlers than liquid gasoline and burns cleaner than diesel, that's why it's used. Do you...

    French Tickler buggy

I thought you had aluminum or chromo links. Single shock? Brakes would be a big one too, I was throwing that in with the high zoot axles

Besides and aluminum block motor (assuming you stay v8) and fabricated 9" based axles, where else would you save weight?

he bought new inner Cs. The "Ultimate Dana 60" Cs that Dana uses on their crate axles. They are like $150/each instead of $500/each like the Reids

    Losing coolant

Same thing happened on a co-workers 09, pinched the tanked closed and it held for a while. Then the upper neck just broke off one day.

    French Tickler buggy

Yeah it would have to have a little slop in the joints and/or it’ll put a little bow in the solid rod when you’re turned. I agree tho, not necessary for most.

Plenty of stuff runs a tie rod with a de ram. I think the first time I seen it was on a Kodiak fertilizer spreader truck when I was a kid.

Mattman's teenage daughter... On those arms, looks like you could add some width to the outside so there is some meat around the bolt hole, add a key toward the front like RustyC drew. And probably make it out of something better than A36 hot roll plate. If you're gonna one-off it, go...

Steering pump options for full hydro

you could always add a priority flow divider to take care of the excess flow at high RPM

Steering pump options for full hydro

you’ll probably be ok with a stock pump unless you really need the flow for as-fast-as-you-can physically turn the wheel steering.

    NP205 doubler mounting

That kibbetech mount is all wrong. I’d build a foot off the back of the Nissan crawl box plate with a single mount, and let the 205 hang
