    Family Truckster LJ build

Super nice setup. I like it. I’ve been considering doing something very similar with a 4 door Jk. I like my cherobuggy. But, I’d love to have a semi built daily driver/3rd vehicle.

    Fuel cell venting

Bringing this back. I’m putting a fuel cell in my rig. I watched burkey’s two videos on vent line routing and the theory changes between videos. Thoughts? Ideas? On both do the drawn examples below it will go down behind the tank and rollover valve below the floor board.

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

I used to run some powerbass subs back in the day. Might have blown out a window seal once or twice with them.

    Just another XJ

The stock xj pump didn’t hold up for me. I swapped an 04 WJ pump in a while back. They use a hydraulic actuated fan on those models. So the pump is larger. Block that port off and you’re good to go. Direct bolt in swap.

    Now we’re talking… I like it.

    Just another XJ

Little update. Took the crawler hauler out for the first weekend. I’ve got a short list of amenities I need to add, but overall, zero complaints. As for the Jeep, the trip before this, the t case grenaded while I pulled it onto the trailer at the house. Broke the Tailshaft housing at some...

Dangit, I wanna see this thing. Paging RickyB for a walk around video.

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

Yea I agree. The angle makes it look like it would lay better if the chassis side hardlines was about 2” shorter. But I don’t think it’s worth screwing with.

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

Y’all joke. But a guy broke a driveshaft or something relatively simple at windrock a few years back, it ripped the brake lines out, started rolling down stair steps out of control, and the only thing that stopped him was a sapling. Rest of the rig was all but dangling off the mountain...

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

I realize the odds of this happening, but bear with me. That a brake line over there by the heim? If that heim Or link were to fail, I feel like it’d take out that brake line. Or maybe it’s just not attached yet and looks like it’s rubbing funny?

Holy crap that’s nice. Excellent attention to detail.

    Race technical inspection

Oh I could definitely do this job!

    Race Yota 4653

All them hamster powers sheered those suckers right in half. Well done!
  14. The Luke

    DaxTrax kids buggy build

No. I just want it to have enough power to move on it’s own without slinging a timing chain through the cover.
  15. The Luke

    DaxTrax kids buggy build

    That’s a negative.
  16. The Luke

    DaxTrax kids buggy build

Man that’s awesome. So jealous. I need to get on it and build one for my kiddos.
  17. The Luke

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

Here recently there’s been a couple videos of jk’s burning to the ground because of their offbrand spod. I think that’s a great move on your part. Electrical is simple if you keep it that way.
  18. The Luke

    wizzo's buggy

    That was quick.
  19. The Luke

The Gremlin - Toyota beater truggy build

I thought my tractor sounded like a tractor, but your tractor outdid my tractors tractor-ness.

Mayyyybe. Whenever I strip it all down to overhaul it all, I’ll take some measurements.
