*Off Road Only* 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. This is the only year Chrysler produced the 5.9 engine and 46RE transmission combination in the Grand Cherokee. Dana 44 axles front and rear, Yukon gears 5.43, Nitro front axles and completely rebuilt front end, 36" Super Swamper Iroks on beadlock wheels. Radius arm suspension up front and 4 link rear. Has dents and dings as any trail rig of its age should. Needs a t-case linkage or cable shifter to shift transfer case, I just never put one back in because I leave it in 4 low. Great trail rig just don't need it anymore. 6000 obo. Chad 423-595-2514

I seen this on CL for sale. I've got a few questions. What makes it "off road only"? No title, or something else? What did the D44's come from? What's the wheel bolt pattern?

@TBItoy I'm like 99% certain these were a 249 or 242 awd case. Unless it's been swapped. Probably the 249.

Clean title. Its off road only because it has beadlocks, no swaybars which makes body roll worse, and the steering just isn't tight enough for high speeds. Its ok up to about 35 or 40 mph. Its just not a daily driver. Axles probably came out of a late model F 150 or bronco. 5 lug, high pinion front.
