You guys know if 4.56 gears were standard in those power wagon 2500s?

Yep. I'm pretty sure that's what they all came with.

All of them in body style and the previous have 4.56s

Buddy bought one right after they came out. Still has it. It's a cool truck.

I just sold my cummins an hour ago. Diesels aren't for me but I will miss it. But yea, found a flawless looking 08 power wagon. I really dig it, but I may decide to go with a newer truck.

They are great trucks. I bought a brand new one in 06, it actually had a 6 speed manual transmission. Wish I still had it.

I went to werock in Dayton years ago and talked to some guy that had a crew cab, hemi, 4x4, 6 spd that had been through like fifteen transmissions or something. I always assumed it was just a lemon.

Hmm....yeah that sounds a little crazy. The transmission they used is basically the same G56 manual that come behind the Cummins also. It holds up pretty good behind a Cummins, so I see no reason that it shouldn't last behind a 5.7 HEMI.
