205 popping out

My dad just bought a jeep and its twin sticked and for some reason the front pops out when gong down a hill

Any ideas

Check the spring under the rubber stopper on top of the case. Sometimes those springs wear out and let the little ball in there not stay in the notch on the shift rail.

Check to make sure the floor board is not touching the shifter at all...

store bought kit or did they grind shift rail may not have grounded shift wright

they machined the rail but he is a machineist by trade so i think its done right and the spring ill have to check that
