39 vs 42 reds has it changed?

I remember tons of complaints when the 42 reds came out that they didnt work like the 39. I have been looking all afternoon to see if that has been resolved and why they didnt work as well but have not turned up anything good.

I don't think I would buy a new set, but I would run a used set if I found a good deal. You can always sell them if you aren't happy. That's the beautiful thing about what we do.

I was wondering this myself. See lots of guys running them out west but its usually like wheeling on sand paper out there so who knows.

LightBnDr is gonna get on here and say they rock, but the set that sold in the classifieds a few months back proves it. 42s at well over half tread for 700 or 900 bucks obo... Two 39s will bring that. There has to be a reason they were that cheap, no one gives away 37 or 39 inch reds like that

Aren't they still 20s? You couldn't pay me to run 20s on a trail rig. I can't stand the way it looks. Hell I wish I could just run 15s on my buggy.

the 42's work great on mine! they say they break axles and parts way more often but I haven't had that issue.
