4.5 Grinders

I've got a 4" Makita I stole from work 30 years ago and it still works perfectly. I threw away a 5 year old 4.5" Dewalt last year after having many problems with it. I bought a Metabo 4.5" about 2 years ago and I really like it, but I could have bought a half dozen cheap grinders for what it cost. I also got 2 cheap ryobi grinders that have been working fine for a few years.

95% of the time that style would not work for me. I usually hold the grinder with one hand. I recommend sending one back and getting two small ones. I think I got the dewalt's on sale for about $55 each. Just my 2c.

This. there is alot of time when grinding a smallish or odd shaped part that you need to manipulate it with one hand and grind with the other. Best to have a grinder you can manage one handed.
