^^^ Me to, put a good set of head gaskets, stud it, a decent cam and exhaust, and it would be a bad mo fo! All the power you could ever want, from idle up! No need for a big loose convertor, or a big stupid cam that has no low end.
Overdriven LSA is the way to go.. They can be found cheap on ebay and 700-800 HP at the crank is really easy to achieve with roller rockers, cam, tuning, and mild porting to the supercharger snout and heads (LS3 or L92)
