1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ / Almost Buggy Rock Crawler
4.0L automatic with Cold air intake

One benefit of the military is that since we move all over frequently…..this jeep has been wheeled coast to coast. It's hit Johnson Valley/Hammers, Big Bear, Moab, K2, WolfCaves, Hot Springs, AOP, etc etc. It constantly surprises everyone and keeps up with the buggies. Cage built to protect my wife and kids. Flexes like crazy with the 20" ORIs in the back.
Hate to sell it as we've had it for 10 years. But my family has outgrown it and just don't have the time to use it anymore. My loss is your gain!
Suspension:
14" Fox coilovers front with Fox bump stops
20" ORIs in the rear
4 Linked front and rear
Adams driveshaft front and tomwoods rear
Front Axle (only two rides on set up):
99-04 Dana60 narrowed to 78-79 width to match rear
35 spline chromoly inner and outer shafts with Yukon Super Joints
5x5.5 35 spline hub and ECGS drive flanges
5.38 with Locker
Ball Joint Deletes
MoFab keyed high steer knuckles
Full Hydro - PSC with reservoir, cooler, pump, and orbital
Custom Full hydro mount with section removable to access ring and pinion
Suckdown point
Rear Axle:
9" with 1.5" Spacers to match front WMS
5.38 with Spool
35 spline chromoly shafts
Pinion guard
Upper truss and backbone truss for strength
Tires and Wheels:
40" Sticky Treps on 17" Raceline beadlocks
Full size spare which can mount on the back of the jeep
Spare tire carrier raises up and stays up with gas struts
Custom cage with roof cut out. Hybrid internal and exo style cage.
PRP seats in the front and kirky seat and kids bucket seat in the back.
All seats tied into the cage with 4 point harnesses all around.
