I just came back from my yearly trip to France.
I always try to set it up so I can drop by and say hi to my old friends during the annual french pirate4x4 meeting.

If you are so inclined, go check out some of the pics of the rides and the party going on during the weekend by clicking over there :

Action pics really start on page 5.

Some good ones to motivate you to click on the link :

408 stroker Vortex supercharged Dry sump Jeep Magnum engine
Built 46RH
Atlas
14 bolt front 35sp 300M RCV
14 bolt rear 35sp 300M RCV
Fox bypasses and coilovers
42 treps on Hutchinson double beadlocks

Thanks for sharing the pictures and glad you got to be home for a bit.

Looking at the various rigs shown, it's cool how similar and how different things are over here and over there.

The ones that are similar to the US (LS, tons etc) are very very high money units over there.

The ones you can't figure out where the axles, engines etc came from are the units built with local stuff :D

I like both types of the builds. LS and tons or tractor axles and motors.

Is there any videos of this beast in action?

there is a sweet rollover on the pirate4x4.fr facebook page.
Some more videos laying around on the same page too.

Owner isn't big in the social media deal.

BTW, the engine is coming out, replaced by a mild built LQ9 backed up by a Randy Rodd built Th400. Sorry MoparMan ;D

It's a badass engine but way too temperamental and requires a ton of maintenance. And the guy is only trail riding so no point in having a complicated engine for no performance edge.
