Here is a slow build that I have been working on for awhile.

56.12 Low Range (3.8)
153.19 Reduction/Low Range (2.7+3.8)Over Kill :wtf

Chevy 60 front

Custom home built (by yours truly) rear steer 60

RCV Performance CV rear shafts

a few more things have been done since these pics, the floor pans, levers, and all switches are now mounted.

Hopefully Ill see you all on the trails sooner than later :driving :

A little progress this weekend.

I built the tcase cross member, and a pillow block cross member. I had to build a 2 piece front drive shaft to clear the tranny since I clocked the Atlas flat. The front shaft included one stock 2.5 ton shaft with a pillow block mounted to it and another stock shaft shortened 3in. I mounted the 2 slip yokes together and the solid ends went to the tcase and axle yoke.

I also got the gas petal mounted as well as the radiator and propane hoses.

Now its about time to start pluming it (steering, wires, brakes)

Later

Ill try and post some pics in the next couple days

not much of an update but, Ive done a little to it. after getting the drive shafts built and installed I flexed it out to check the clearance and all looked good. then I finished the interior. after all that I tore it all down to finish up the welding. I got all the major welding done today, as I was finishing up I ran out of welding gas  There are a few things that will need to be welded later but those will be easier to get to. I think I will swap the gears out tomorrow, going from 4.10 to 5.86's

still shootin for the Halloween ride :driving:

Dont know yet, just trying to get it done so I can go somewhere, where you headed?

just a little update ;D

I finally got to fire the rig up and hear it run for the first time :party

just a little update

rear steer hooked up and working
alt installed
front hydro installed and working
redid the wilwood petal mount
propane hooked up and working
radiator mounted and hooked up
built rear cross member and mounted the atlas
hooked up cable shifters to atlas(instructions are less that desirable, low range adjusted, still have to adjust twin sticks)
shortened atlas low range lever
installed drive shafts
put the front 60 back together after regearing
drive shafts installed and a drive shaft safty hoop (keep loose shaft from hitting fan
installed rear locker
installed air bumps in rear
hooked up art carr shifter (pain in the ass)
dismounted the 44's to install beadlocks
battery mounted
tranny cooler and fan mounted
modified a set of Headers to fit better

Things to finish before next week end

finish brakes (need to get a flaring tool, most installed just need to clean it up)
bleed the front hydro
adjust coilovers
finish assembling the rear 60 (would have been done tonight but I ordered my rear CV shafts a little long, I did this to make sure I didnt accidentally order them to short, its easier to shorted a set than order a new set)
build skid plate

It felt great, after approx 9months of working on it you cant wait to run it. on the way to the trail all you can think of is what you messed up on and what could brake. It was a little loud but my buddy with a linked scrambler was louder than mine and he had a full exaust :****:

that thing has turned out awesome mike!

looks like its got great visibility out the front with the way you setup the chassis and seating position. looks like a good compromise between the "straight up and down" seating position, and the "lay on your back" style.

might have missed where you posted it before, but what is the belly height on it?

Visibility is great, that is one thing I was shooting for.

last I measured, prior to ride weight and no run on it, it was sittin about 22in
