Atlas race case?

What is the difference in the race case? I have looked and can not find what the difference is. They do not offer a race case with a flat rotation?
Hell there site does not even mention why to run it or why it is 1K better than the standard case. :dunno:

I seen that a pirate but why no flat rotation? Why no synchros but still gives me the option? What is a modified shift controller? WHY?
So there is no upgrade to the outputs?

My guess on flat rotation would be they want you to buy their clocking ring or whatever. Fred from 4wheel did a write up on the race case a while back, more or less its got less moving parts and a beefed up case.

The "flat" rotation is still not completely flat.

Spec out a case. On there website it gives you option on the case drop.
It gives you a passenger drop flat or driver drop flat.
But on a race case there is no flat option.

There are 5 mounting positions. The flat can certainly be setup horizontal in mine. I have it on the middle of the 5 stud positions.
