barney finally get the motor swapped

after 2 years of putting it off we started swapping the motor out in barney thought i'd take some pics

had to put on street tires to get the engine out but as wee found out the crane would not lift it out of the engine bay so we came up with the idea of using the lift to get it out but still no go after some rigging we got it out

after 3 carbs (2 22r and the last the weber ) it is running had a rebuild kit for the weber so dipped it and re did it had a problem getting it to idle .found 2 stripped intake bolts and a big vacuum leak .got her idling at 1k now next is running new gauge's (20r harness doesn't like the 22r motor . and adjust the valves .then its new ujoints (found 2 about ready to break ) got to make some kind of Antiwrap bar after i swap in another set of rear springs, tie the cage into the frame and make the mount for the racing sweats .
at this rate i maybe wheeling it up at greyrock by Feb.
